Concetta's Main Street Bistro

"Went there a few months ago for the first and last time. Disappointed for a local small business. The whole vibe on the day we entered was off a bit - seemed tension was high. Poor cashier was being chastised for not properly charging a previous customer. Then the (assumed) owner pops out from the back on a question of how many hard boiled eggs are on the salad - and he chimes in and says I'll put on 15 if you wanna pay for 15, it's $2.50 per egg. Never heard of charging a la carte for a salad item - maybe your menu should specifically state items? Then the sub sandwich was charged a la carte for a loaf of bread ($8), something about the type of bread picked required 4 slices???? - never heard of that. Again, maybe this should all be on your menu. Anyway both of these strange events and the vibe - we should have walked as the wife demanded - but me being hungry, I placed the order - $42 for a sub and salad! We didn't even get the loaf of bread - or whatever I paid for! Yeah wife was right and we will never return. Food edible (3stars), cashier great 5/owner0, avg 3 stars), atmosphere Mt Airy (5 stars)! Overall - 1or less"

"We love coming here for breakfast. Food: good, not great, worth the price for sure. Menu needs more vegetarian/vegan options! Service: wonderful. Everyone is friendly and cheery. Atmosphere: lovely. Cute and cozy and quiet. We like sitting outside enjoying nature."

"Best breakfast sandwich in Mt. Airy. This "Colossal" was so good one corner evaporated before I could snap a picture! Also had Matzah ball soup, bagel with cream cheese and fantastic Knills Farm tomatoes. Lastly the homemade German potato salad was excellent. Patronize Jeff and his friendly staff for great food!"

"On Sunday evening, May 7th I was very fortunate to have Concetta's Main Street Bistro in Mt. Airy Maryland cater my daughter's bridal shower at a local vineyard for approximately 35 guests. Concetta's helped to plan the menu, prepared, delivered, and set up a beautiful looking and delicious charcuterie spread with decorative cheese, meats and desserts of all kinds. It was truly "Over the top," said several guests. Everything was created with elegance and attention to detail. I would highly recommend them to all. In fact, I now am looking for any excuse to celebrate so that I can bring Concetta's Bistro in to feed many of my own life-long friends!"

"Great little country restaurant with good òle country cookin. Very nice people. I forgot to ask for no onions and they quickly and happily exchanged my order for one with no onions. Our server was the best!! We ate outside and watched the people and cars go by and had a very pleasant and relaxing breakfast."
