Bud's at Silver Run 4115 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158

"Bud's at Silver Run is a slightly upscale restaurant for the area. This was my first time dining. I was part of a large group, attending a holiday meal. The menu is fairly large, with offerings for every palette. I started the meal with raw oysters, which were of a nice size and tasted great. I ordered an Elk chop for dinner. The chop was average in size, approximately 4-5 oz. It was cooked correctly and flavored well. Several folks in my party ordered crab cakes. They reported that they cakes were cooked well but had an unusual and unpleasant taste. Pricing at the restaurant is high for the area, but this might be due to supply issues, higher quality products, etc. The service staff was somewhat disorganized and made a few errors during the event. The restaurant is clean, and the restrooms were well maintained. Not sure I would return soon, but might give it another try in the future."

"This was our 1st visit to Bud's at Silver Run. Our waitress was well informed and very attentive. The drinks were ice cold and refreshing. I enjoyed a cup of the Maryland Crab soup followed by the Salmon entree. My dessert was the cheesecake with BlackBerry sauce. This was by far the best dining experience I have had in the last 5 years. I look forward to returning to this wonderful establishment."

"Our favorite date night spot! Excellent and friendly service - owner Ken is personable and always makes guests feel welcome. The servers have always been super helpful and just as friendly. Food is superior, we've tried nearly every menu item at this point and none disappointed. It's a cute spot both on the dining side and bar half. I will say prepare for an experience as it does take longer but it's worth it!"

"Loved this place. They were out of Rockfish but had Grouper. It was awesome. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. This place is a treasure."
