Brewer's Alley

"Great place!! The ambiance isn't anything special, but downtown Frederick is. So if it's ambiance you are looking for, go for a walk. Because this place has amazing service and food. Our server was funny and attentive. We got the New York strip, loaded mashers, and broccoli and the pickle back burger patty with fries. The steak was SO perfectly done and flavorful. The loaded mash have ALL the fixings- I could have licked the bowl! The firs came out a bit cold but the patty melt was incredibly good. For dessert we had 2 dessert cocktails that were both fabulous. We also had the crème brûlée and PB pie. I will say I didn't care for the crust of the pie (it was a regular pie crust), so I ate mine without it. But it was so good still!!! It's a layer of PB mousse and a layer of chocolate mousse with a thin layer of chocolate on top. It was the perfect meld of flavors and yet somehow not too sweet!! And for any other not-beer folks like me- don’t let this being a brewery deter you! Their craft cocktails are to die for and they have yummy wines as well. Highly recommend this place!"

"Good menu, with some classic items and some more creative. The patio is adorable and opens up onto a street that isn't too busy. The brunch menu (drinks and food) is thoughtful and seasonal. Staff is considerate and professional."

"Brewers Alley is a fun atmosphere that has a (heated) rooftop bar. It was busy on a Saturday night but we got a table fast. For drinks my party ordered sangria and myself, a green tea. I was surprised to see the green tea was on their menu & it ended up being the best I've ever had. We ordered a margherita pizza and pretzel with beer cheese off their late night menu. The pizza was pretty good, very flavorful. The pretzel was warm and soft inside with the beer cheese being very good too, but not as sharp. I would definitely suggest this spot and return again!"

"I don’t usually give 5 stars, but this place earned it. First, nice location, pleasant atmosphere. Second, the food is really, really good. Tried the onion rings, chicken wrap and original burger with bacon and cheese. Wow…I’d say it’s in the best top 5 burgers I’ve had…cooked perfectly, juicy and huge!!! My wife had the green tea shooter…also very good!!! And lastly, the service was awesome!!!"
