"Delightful old cafe. We ate brunch on a Saturday here. The smoked salmon sandwich (smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, and capers) and the breakfast sandwich (fried egg, bacon, lettuce, and tomato) were delicious. So were the lattes. Wish we could stick around and come back in the evening to experience the wine bar or the full bar, but we’re on our way to Maryland. We did buy a few cans of local craft beers to take with us for later."

"The ambiance is quaint and nice. The food and drinks tasted great. The quiche serving was very small, though. We were over charged for our flat white and kombucha (added cost of extra shot and a bigger size than we received) which we unfortunately didn't notice until we left so they didn't have an opportunity to make it right. Overall, a nice brunch experience."

"My parents and I opted to make a reservation here for dinner on Labor Day not knowing if it would be crowded. Turns out we didn’t need the reservation, but the place started filling up after we were seated. There was a near-record high temperature that day so we asked to move to a table that was closer to the window AC, which worked out well. The place oozes with eclectic ambiance and antique decorations. The staff was so accommodating and helpful with our meal choices. We each ordered a different item and agreed that the food was very good. The bonus was the location right next to our rooms at the Light Horse Inn."

"Snallygasters is a hard name to remember. But I’ll never forget the amazing food and fabulous servers. I’ve been eating my way through West Virginia, and I’ve had lots of good pork. Yet nothing has come close to the perfection of this dish. The understated risotto with the flavor screaming pork is a perfect combination. The cheese and parsley were tasteful additions. If you come to Harpers Ferry and do not eat at this restaurant then you have erred. Don’t err, eat here."

"Quirky place "up the hill" in Harper's Ferry. Welcoming atmosphere. Vintage building. Great selection of craft beers and wines. Offers unique food...fun stuff! Overall excellent experience."
