"My family has been eating and taking out food from Curtis's for literally generations. I make it a stopping point every trip north of us. Very professional and nostalgic atmosphere. Great food ! Great service ! We highly recommend everyone in the world to stop in and enjoy"
"Although they are only open for takeout, loved the atmosphere and quick service. The hot dogs are excellent, though have created an internal family rift over who has the best chili sauce: my husband now proclaims here at Curtis' is better than that at my beloved Hinton WV Dairy Queen. We will have to try again to say for sure."
"Interesting place. Cheap burgers and hotdogs. Pretty tasty. I got the impression they are used to catering to locals, and kind of expect you to know what to order before walking up to the window. The only guy working was pleasant enough, just not overly friendly. Not at all rude, but maybe not too excited to be working on a cold afternoon, two days before Christmas. The food was made quickly, and it was hot and tasty. It looks like they closed the dining room at the beginning of the pandemic, and three years later still haven't opened it back up. I imagine it never will, which is a shame because that was a big part of the historic appeal to me. Without that, it's kind of like a food truck with a ten square foot griddle and cash register. But they did have a tented outdoor area with a propane heater, so that was nice. Overall, a decent experience and worth checking out if you're wandering around downtown."
"Stopped in for the first time today and was energetically greeted by the owner. He guided me through the popular choices and didn't steer me wrong! The hot dog "with" and fish tail sandwich also "with" is what I was recommended so also what I recommend. I'm from near Philly so this place made me happy with its East Coast charm with the friendliness of Southern hospitality! It was obvious that many locals love this place so don't be foolish and take their word for it. I'll go here every time I'm ever in Cumberland, thanks again Curtis!"
"We always eat here every time we're in the area. (The last time was 7 years ago, I guess a lot has changed). You can not eat inside anymore, I guess they never reopened after COVID. They do have a weiner hut but we opted to take our food for a picnic at Constitution Park instead. Disappointed they didn't have the Cherry Smash, it was my absolute favorite soda (discontinued by the distributor). The hotdog was fine . I ordered mustard didn't see or taste any under the chili. The real bummer was the hamburger I also ordered. I couldn't even finish it. I still have 4* for the affordability and nostalgia but not as good as I remembered"
