"We're fairly new to Allegany County so we're 1st timers at Mezzo's. It won't be our last!! The food was great! We had the broiled and the fried crab cake sliders, wings, crab pizza and brew city fries. So far, it's been the best crab cake, we've found, in Cumberland. Our server, Aubrey, was sweet and attentive."

"Horrible experience, the bartenders was nothing but arrogant and argued with me. I kindly asked to have my mixed drink exchanged with a beer because it tasted like chlorine. I got a Tito’s and ginger ale. I had multiple friends taste my drink and they all agreed and said it tasted like chlorine. I asked kindly to replace my drink with a beer and was asked to pay for it. And I asked why, and he tasted my drink and argued that the drink was fine. Not only was I asked to pay him for the beer, he kept my full drink and refused to pay back the money spent on the drink which was $5.50. I’m never going back to be basically called a liar. By the way if they think ginger ale taste like chlorine bleach they need to hire better bartenders!!"

"We liked the decor and vintage vibe. However we were the only customers for Friday lunch which was a good indication of the service. Most of the menu is sliders. If you want to focus a menu on sliders consider the bun. They were white, dry, and tasteless which i saw in other reviews but i thought surely, you see people don't like them, you would have changed them but that wasn't the case. We ordered loaded potato chips, but received loaded fries covered in nacho cheese and chili. Not even close to what we ordered and no apology whatsoever for the mix up actually asking us if we were sure if that isn't what we ordered from the bartender who took our order. We were sure. Being the only 2 customers in the place, it took over 40 minutes to get our 1 order of 5 very dry sliders. We were completely done eating by the time our loaded chips came. The keg kicked on my second beer which was 3/4 filled in the glass but I was charged full price. We wanted to like it. But our experience was not great. Go to Wendy's instead. Lack of training for bar staff is something that can ruin an experience and our experience was not good."

"stopped by on a work trip and loved this spot!! food was great and well priced, and the margs were phenomenal (thanks brad and alison!). theyve got open mic on tuesdays and other great specials, and the whole place feels like home even for a random traveler stopping by! thanks guys!"
