"Walked the promenade on a beautiful January day, about 11:30 am. People about, but not crowded. Honking geese and lapping waves added to the ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the pier with the carved native birds on top of the pilings. Well worth the little bit of extra walking."

It's so great to have a park in such a pretty location, with access to a beautiful trail along the bay (the promenade), clean public restrooms, and even a restaurant. We stayed the whole day!"
