Reviews
"Lovely small state park. We liked the rock field. It was difficult to find the trail, we had to drive to another parking lot to find the trail. Bathrooms available. No running water. Beautiful views."
"Beautiful view from the park in most areas. There is a pavilion at the peak and other picnic areas scattered around. Could easily spend a few hours here."
"Well maintained area. Large wide open hillside high above York Co overlooking the Susquehanna into Columbia. Large pavilion area.. Even a frisbee golf course. Great view in many directions allowing for a view of either, Sunrise or Sunset. Lovely place for family photos and great fall foliage spot."
"Has been windy every time I've gone. There are wide open areas that are perfect spot for kites. There are a few picnic sites. Playground us small but clean. Kids can climb all over the rocks but small children should be watched."
"The view is amazing! Love the various rock formations throughout the park, which is great for kids and to drive your toy trucks on.. The trails are not easily located and they seemed to be rocks and gravel. This park has many areas for picnics and an open space perfect for flying kites and I saw a couple. The restroom is very small and it's not a flushable one... just a big hole with a toilet seat. I guess it is expected in the mountains? People at this park are very friendly. I think I might be the only nonwhite person here. They didn't treat me differently. I wish the trails were easier to locate. I still had fun walking around, exploring this park with my girls."
