Reviews of Richard M. Nixon County Park
"Nice walking trails and nature center, lots of fun for kids."
"Beautiful and peaceful area. The gentleman inside of the nature center was so helpful and sweet. Great place to explore for kids."
"We brought our 6 year old grandson to the park. He enjoyed himself and said it was one if the best thing he did while visiting us for the week. He lived touching the pelts. We then took a little hike and played outside bingo, it made the walk fun. We left with a tee shirt and a small stuffed wolf, which he named max. The week before we had brought his sister."
"This place is beautiful. I stumbled upon it by accident a few years ago, and love coming here to cool down since the shade and proximity to a stream keeps it cooler. The forest is surreal at all times of the year, and you're almost guaranteed to see wildlife on your walk or hike. They have easier paths and more ambitious ones, depending on what you're looking to do. In addition, there's a little area that helps educate about conservation and the local wildlife/flora. Lovely place to visit for a quiet walk."
"Amazing park for kids! Beautifully maintained, tons of wildlife, turtles sunbathing on logs, tadpoles by the boat loads, beautiful trees, plants and birds everywhere. We didn't visit the nature center but the park itself is outstanding."
