"Went there to honor a friend. The view is kind of like tunnel vision. Trees have grown up so you can't see as much as you once could. I'm all for nature but it would be nice to have a better view like it was a long time ago. I remember it being very panoramic back in the '70s. After all it is an overlook. Next time I go there I'll make sure to take pictures."

"The view is beautiful. You can see the tall buildings in North Frederick. This time of the year is the best time to go... Fall Foliage!! The color is beautiful. If you are in the area, recommend swing but, bit I would go out of the way to see it because there are more beautiful overlooks."

"I'm gonna say this lookout is amazing for sunrise. The view is fantastic and perfect for any amateur photographers, or anyone wanting to see the sunrise over Frederick. But the biggest problem is the parking lot is closed. Maybe it's a seasonal lot. But its disappointing to have to hike up the rocky trail or park illegally on the side of the road."
