"This is a great campground on the Potomac River. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The natural beauty is inspiring and so peaceful and quiet here compared to other campgrounds I have stayed at. So glad to find this gem!"
"Lovely place wonderful management, kid and pet friendly, and so many things to do! Spent most of the summer months here with many great people."
"NOT IDEAL FOR SHORT TERM TRAVEL!!! We were told when we arrived (NOT when we made the reservation) that there was a secerity deposit. I was super nervous about this because literally no other campground has ever done that, let alone a $650 one; but we were desperate for a cheaper monthly rate so we took the chance. I was nervous after reading other reviews but thankfully I can say we got ours back, but we had to delay leaving the area to make sure of it. The main thing to expect is to get a handful of excuses from Barbie for her reasoning as to why your deposit will take so long to get back to you; but bottom line is it comes off as very unprofessional and unorganized. It was very aggravating to interact with her about getting our money back. The cheaper rate is NOT worth the stress of the deposit if your only in the area for a short time. Honestly if your coming into this area for work, just stay across the street at Leather-mans RV park; those owners seem to have more than a high school GED and actually uphold a level of professionalism. We had no issues or complaints while parked there so I would advise to spend the extra money to stay there if your able to."
"Said here for 28 days when we moved to the state. Barbie was nice, while we where there. Told her we would be there for about a month. Moved into a house and got ahold of her to get our $750 security deposit back and was told we didn't give them 30 days' notice. Good luck getting your deposit back. The maintenance guy was super awesome, and that is the only reason they get any stars. The people are friendly that stay there. There is no chance of getting internet while we where there. Something like 4 spots even has the capability of getting it."
"We were able to snag a last minute reservation here and really enjoyed our brief stay. The camp is quiet and we enjoyed walking down to the river. Barbie was very friendly and helpful, and discussed all of the renovations that are taking place here. We will definitely be back!"
