Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"So first, why do they insist on seating you right beside people and feel scrunched, when there is open tables everywhere? Because it's easy for them? I thought it was about the customer??? Maybe not, I like to actually enjoy my meal and not just eat and leave. Our waitress was asking how our meal was before I could eat anything. The food was absolutely horrible. Mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy. The cornbread was hard and cold. I guess CB cut back on the syrup they used to give out, because it now comes in a little tiny cup. We asked for plates to eat our muffins on... she brought one plate. It's a day later and I'm still tasting meatloaf. We hadn't been to CB in a while because it wasn't good the last time we had it, but we tried again. It used to be good. I'll never eat there again."

"Food was fine but the app and website is terrible and needs reworked. App doesn't let you add a gift card even when you click on add a gift card. Website lets you add a gift card but doesn't let you add a credit card. After many attempts of deleting and purchasing again I was finally able to add a gift card and cc on the website. Also, the website did not pick up the whole order place and when I got home, I was missing a side. App shows I ordered the side but the grill slip from the restaurant does not. Company really needs to get someone to make sure their app and website is working 100%. Just a very bad experience overall. It's funny how the owner only response to 4-5 star reviews and doesn't address the other reviews which are not very favorable."

"Came during some snow and Cracker Barrel was about the only thing open. Hadn't been to one in years and was hesitant at first, but, was pleasantly surprised. Prices were good. We got steaks. Came with 3 sides. Ended up spending $23 per person after tip. Food was great and tasted fresh. Service was decent."

"One of the better Cracker Barrels I've been in lately. The food is always delicious, and the service is usually quick. My server tonight was Angelina and she was great. Friendly and attentive and just an overall good employee."

"Stopped here for lunch while traveling from West Virginia to the Baltimore area on December 1, just around 2pm. The parking lot looked full, but when we went inside we were seated right away by a very nice lady who would also be our server. I ordered the lunch meatloaf and asked her to make sure it was a "big hunk" of meatloaf. She suggested I order the dinner meatloaf and guaranteed a "big hunk" of meatloaf. She was correct! My sister ordered the country fried turkey (we saw our server delivering it to another table and it looked fantastic). Our server also gave the country fried turkey the thumb-up and she was right again (I made my sister share with me). Our server brought us our drinks and plenty of biscuits & cornbread. She was really on the ball. Our meals arrived hot and absolutely delicious, and our server did not let our drinks go empty - I love when that happens!! We did not need containers for our leftovers - there were none. We did get a container for leftover bread though. All in all, we had a fantastic experience at this Cracker Barrel. I think this may be one of my meal stops when I'm traveling on I-68 from now on. Good job Cracker Barrel!!"
