"The Rock Maze is a lot of fun with your kids. Very interesting natural rock passages form a maze pathways to create great fun for exploring kids or those who are young at heart."
"Very beautiful! The camp grounds are very nice. Very spaced out. They have a wood counter and pole to hang a lantern and put a grill, a picnic table and fire pit. I don't know if they have Electricity & water hook ups. I got no cell phone service so bring a map if you're not familiar with the area. Pictures were taken in a part of the park you can't access unless you know someone who lives in that area of the park. Beautiful senary!"
"Take your family or just yourself and visit the Rock Maze, wander the forest and see nature. The rock maze makes you feel like your in the jungle from the Canopy and make sure you explore every nook and crevice."
"The Rock Maze Trail in Garrett State Forest is an unexpected adventure if you are looking for something a little different to do. Huge towering boulders seem to be arbitrarily plopped in the middle of the forest. However, their crevices and intermingling pathways create a fun natural maze filled with plants growing in places you would least expect. You can tell the rocks have been around for awhile. The trees growing on the rocks create an eerie enchanted forest vibe. This rock maze is like a “living museum” filled with interesting “nature” as artwork. It is amazing to see how the tree roots have enveloped the rocks. Whether the trees are holding the rocks captive…or they have grafted the rocks to be a part of their family…the environment at the Rock Maze is intriguing. The trail from the limited parking lot to the Rock Maze is just shy of 1/2 mile. So, that is almost a 1-mile round trip out and back. It’s considered a relatively easy trail."
"Nice half mile trail through the forest with lots of large ferns. At the end of the trail is an amazing maze of large boulders all close together with narrow passages between them. We were the only ones there at the moment along with our dog. We actually had a slightly difficult time trying to find our way back out of the rock maze and back to the trail. I recommend seeing it for a short 1 hour or so visit if you are in the area. Be careful not to get lost!"
