"Prospective patients beware! Lehigh Family Dentistry takes 3-day weekends every week, and turns off their dental emergency communication. This is not a hypothetical. I am in the middle of a dental emergency right now, and they have been ignoring me all today, Friday. As far as I can tell, they plan to keep ignoring me tomorrow and Sunday, too. Who knows when they will bother to get around to getting around to calling me. Their treatment of patients is reprehensible."

"I want to be very clear that my experience with the staff and with Dr Patel was incredible. After consideration they lose 1 star for policy, which I’ll explain later. First, the good/great…..Debbie and Karen at the front desk are incredible. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They handle all the insurance details and explain everything as best they can. Dr Patel is an amazing dentist. I needed work done and wasn’t happy about it at all. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and took extra time to explain each step of the procedure. I am not a fan of dentists but I’ll have no problem going back for another procedure if ever needed. Her dental techs and support team are all pretty awesome too. The one issue I had…,.as with many medical professionals these days, they display a policy in the waiting room that says “if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time we may charge you” (it was either $25 or $50). Now, I’ve seen this policy many times before so I asked the same question I always ask…”is that policy reciprocal?” I got the same response as always…slight head tilt, “huh?” So I repeat myself…. They respond with a little smirk…”uh, NO”. To ALL medical professional who have adopted this same policy, you might as well have a sign that reads…”we believe our time is more valuable than yours, so if you waste it we are going to charge you”. Just be up front about it because that’s what you’re actually saying. I do understand this policy but doctors cancel too, so why not be fair about it. What if I had to take a vacation day at work or arrange for children to be taken care of to make the appointment? And guess what….they did cancel 16 hours before my scheduled appointment. They switched my appointment around twice the same week, and actually attempted a third change but I refused. I also let them know that I now have a free appointment change in the bank. It’s always amazed me that the medical industry constantly wants us to believe we are important patients but they keep treating us like customers."

"Everything about the place was welcoming. To the receptionist Debbie, to the DDS, to the helpers or whichever they are. I had a bad experience with dentists when I was younger, and didn’t go for 13 years due to anxiety and issues that I had with the other provider. But this establishment and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, happy, informed, and well taken care of. Will definitely be going back whenever I need dental work done. Just gotta get the 3 root canals first! 100/10, would recommend to anybody!"
