"I'm sure the food is fine, but the customer service is garbage. The employees obviously have no desire to be there and customers feel it. I stood at the register with my son for 8 minutes while the three young ladies "working" just ignored us. It was mid afternoon and the restaurant was empty except for us. We walked out. Told my wife, and she said she had a similar experience only a couple weeks prior. This is a common path for Waldorf businesses.. absentee owners, sub par employees don't care, customers get turned off, the business close up shop then another Nail Salon moves in. Owners, respect your own communities or sell to someone who does."
"While I love eating at Firehouse, the employees at the Waldorf location demonstrated horrible customer service, no customer engagement, and it appeared that they really didn't want to be at work today. The person at the cash register who had gloves on would take an order and proceed to make sandwiches with the same gloves on. He also wore his pants down his backside and would pull them up with the same gloved hands and then continue making sandwiches. Another employee touched the refrigerator handles and again did not change their gloves prior to making sandwiches. In a space that handles food I strongly believe that other people who touched that refrigerator did not have clean hands. While there were four employees in the store, one person was on the phone, and the two making the sandwiches just really didn't care. It took over 20 minutes for me to get my sandwich, the store was not busy, and after my order they were still backed up with six breads accumulating outside of the toaster. They were absolutely moving in slow motion and streaming one sandwich at a time. I ordered the New York steamer with the corned beef replaced by pastrami. Unfortunately I cannot add a photo of this sandwich which contained over 50% fat on the pastrami. The sandwich was thrown away. I would not recommend eating at this location."
"Not to be too punny, but these Firehouse subs are HOT. Let me first say the young man behind the counter today (I believe he was the manager) was 100 % awesome. He made recommendations and shared what he liked about the menu. The seasoning on the Italian is outstanding. That was his pick and it did not let me down. Thanks. Clean - check Tasty- check check Good vibes - check"
"Always a great place to stop in and get a firehouse sub. The place is clean and everyone there is friendly. My favorite sub there is the Italian but this time I tried the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sandwich. It is now tied with the Italian as my favorite. The spicy Cajun chicken was one step below that but it was really good also."
