"I never write reviews but i really wanted to get the message across so that no one else is put into a situation. Copying my review from what I wrote on yelp as well. I received a letter from insurance stating that the services the dentist had submitted for pre-authorization was fully covered for my handicapped sister's operation. However, I received my insurance that the services were denied. After raising this concern to the dentist, she assured me that she received the same letter however, since my sister has medicaid over 21, she's fully covered. After the operation a few months later, I received numerouss calls from the office stating that the insurance indeed did not cover it and I needed to pay +$2000 out of my own pocket. I went to appeal to the insurance company and I was bounced around the medical and dental insurances giving me conflicting information on who's responsibility was what but after I finally received word that the dental insurance was the right place to place the appeal, I was called to by a collection agency. Looking at other people's reviews, it seems like this is common practice for Dr Ghalehbaghi to send it onward to a collection agency. I ended up paying the bill out of pocket to the collection agency and still waiting on insurance. Hopefully this review can help what to expect from a dental practice like this."
