"Get there before the overnight staff! Wow, took nearly an hour to check in and not only that, the staff used their own name and address on my reservation which screwed up my receipt for work. The location is questionable too as upon arriving our uber made sure we were aware of where we were. The rooms, however, were fine, and the beds were comfortable, but that can't make up for such terrible staff. Not that they were mean or rude, just unable to perform simple tasks."
"Rooms were good widows allowed wind to move shades in the window and allowed street noise all night. Neighborhood around the area is rough lot of folks moving around at night. Security was good parking lot is well lighted. Overall fix the windows the staff was great."
"Had a good stay with no issues. Breakfast was good and the place was well decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Be sure to go to Mo's Seafood. They will come and pick you up from the hotel and bring you back after. If you have trouble sleeping with street noise, maybe don't stay in the city. I slept fine though."
"We boooked this hotel for an 1 night stay before our RC cruise. It was close to the port. The hotel office shuttle service at an additional cost of twenty per person (if you didn’t book through a cruise package) but it’s very easy to get an Uber also. Our check in was very quick. We did run into an issue with our key card not working but that was quickly remedied. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh. We didn’t have any towels or wash clothes in the bathroom. I asked the clerk Absou for towels and we had towels and washcloths in our room when re returned from dinner. This hotel is a 9 minute walk to the Powerplant. This is an area that has several restaurants, bars, and sometime live music. Next to this there is a children’s museum. The walk was not bad at all. Just a tip, the shower/tub is on a platform. If you have mobility issues this could be a fall risk. I tripped into the shower and I don’t have joint or gait issues. The shower was nice. With great water pressure and hot water. Our bed was comfortable enough. My back ached but my husband slept like a baby. He’s the one with back issues and said the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed this hotel with us historian charm and friendly service. Abdou was very helpful and so nice. I highly recommend this hotel."
"I booked a 3 day stay for a weekend away. I love that this hotel used to be a bank. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The continental breakfast is fantastic. And if you’re hungry late at night they have a company that they work with that delivers food. SO much to choose from & it tastes good. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area. I was also pleased with how quiet it is. Nothing like going to a hotel and you can’t sleep because the neighbors in the other rooms are loud. I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended. *I accidentally answered the question wrong about breakfast. A continental breakfast IS included with your stay**"
