Publix Pharmacy at Embrey Mill Town Center

"This used to be one of the best pharmacies in Stafford. I hate that I have to write this review. The past 3 experiences I’ve had here have been so subpar and disappointing. The customer service has been terrible which is absolutely atypical at Publix. The excuses given for this is being “short staffed”. Today my son was diagnosed with a strep infection that required antibiotics. The pediatrician sent the fax over. I called 4 hours later to see when I could come and pick it up and the pharmacist said “I’ll put it priority but I don’t know when it will be ready.” Well, I kind of need to know when to pick it up. And I need to know if it will be ready prior to the pharmacy closing. But she refused to give me a time. When I pressed the issue, she said “Just come and pick it up in 15 minutes.” She was so rude and so patronizing. I understand short staffing. But there is no excuse for poor customer service."

"The female pharmacist here (blonde and young) is very snide and dismissive. She seems to enjoy telling people "no". Let's be honest, this is NOT a busy pharmacy and there is no reason to have the wait an hour to fill a prescription. If I were Publix I would be having a talk with this employee about how to grow the business."

"I want to share our recent experience with this pharmacy, and I hope it serves as constructive feedback for improvement. My husband has been dealing with this pharmacy for some time, and unfortunately, we've encountered recurring issues with prescription filling and communication. This weekend, the situation reached a breaking point. My husband, who suffers from migraine and injuries, was scheduled to see a specialist on Thursday, the 28th. The medication prescribed was not in stock, so we were informed it would be ordered and arrive by Friday. However, when we called on Friday, we were shocked to find out that the medication had not been ordered. This meant that my husband had to endure excruciating migraine pain for an extended period, which had already persisted for five days. On the same Friday, my husband called the pharmacy to inquire about the status of his other prescriptions. To our surprise, he was informed that two of them were vitamins and should be purchased over the counter. As for his third prescription, it needed to be ordered. This was puzzling because earlier that morning, a staff member had assured my husband that it would be ordered since it wasn't ordered on Thursday. The response my husband received was that it was past 7 PM, which apparently was the cut-off time for ordering medicines to be available the next day. This meant that my husband had to endure his debilitating migraine throughout the weekend. As I sit here on Sunday evening writing this review, it pains me to see my husband suffer due to what appears to be a lack of attention to the importance of fulfilling people's prescriptions promptly. People rely on pharmacies to alleviate their pain and enable them to lead normal lives. The oversight of not ordering medications despite our repeated inquiries is disheartening. We implore you to remember that you chose this career to make a difference in people's lives, to help them when they are in need. If these medications were available over the counter, we would not have had to bother you. In conclusion, we kindly request that you strive to do better. We believe we deserve better service and attention to our prescriptions from the pharmacists at this location."

"I have never had a bad experience at Publix, but there's a first time for everything. I wanted to try something new, and it went poorly. I won't be back."

"This is the best pharmacy in the world! Every employee that works in the pharmacy is courteous, efficient and informed. If they don't know the answer to a question they will get one within minutes. The pharmacists have warned me about prescriptions sent by our doctor that could interact badly for my husband! I never leave the pharmacy with a frown on my face, just the opposite. I never mind going there. They are great!"
