"Run down and not taken care of. I question if it's safe to let children play on the playground equipment. There's a lot of graffiti and dirty words written on everything. I will say that the fall leaves on the ground were pretty, but that's thanks to nature, not the park."

"Our little ones enjoyed this park so much. It has play equipment for children of all ages, mini golf, and basketball courts. There are multiple picnic areas including three covered areas. Two well maintained porto potties. We will definitely be back."

"I have very fond memories of The Margaret Manson Weir Memorial Pool on Marland Heights because I was a lifeguard there in 1973. I also taught my wife Betty and many others to swim when she was ten years old. The pool may be closed because Weirton Steel has no funds to keep it operational, but the Park is still lovely as ever. I have been back in the area since August 2021, renovating a house to sell, and decided to visit the Park. The grounds were nicely kept, and the facility offered plenty of parking. If you like tennis, the Park offers free tennis courts. It also has a nice shelter house for your convenience for a great picnic, party, or other get-togethers. Please feel free to visit Marland Heights Park. You will NOT be disappointed."

"The park is shaded, perfect for hot days! My child likes to run all around and its nice the park is back from the road. It is an older park but still one of our favorite. It has all the equipment to jump, climb, run etc. All the things a child needs to get some energy out and challenge them physically."
