"TERRIBLE! RUDE! UNHELPFUL! I cannot believe how difficult this pharmacist made this process. I tried getting a prescription filled for almost 5 hours. Had to call my doctor and this pharmacy 7 times EACH over a 5 HOUR period… there kept being more and more problems each time I called CVS back. None of these problems were brought up on any previous calls. I explained to them each time I was leaving town for 2 weeks that evening and needed the prescription filled today. They were unhelpful, rude, unwilling to make any calls to my doctor to get very simple questions answered, my doctor would “have to call them.” I’d call my doctor back they would call and provide a 5 second update, than I would call CVS back again. Long holds, dropped calls, etc…. Terrible experience and customer service from CVS, they were unwilling to help, and had no explanation of why there kept being new problems every time we resent the prescription. I was told that if I got there by 7PM (when they close) they would fill it. Finally get all of the CVS issues resolved, show up to the pharmacy at 6:35, 25 minutes before they close. No one else is in line or waiting to pick up their prescription and the rude pharmacist proceeds to tell me “we’re closing, it will be ready at 7am when we open tomorrow.” I explained I was leaving town (for the 1000th time) and would wait now for him to fill it…. Mind you they are still open for another 20+ minutes at this point. After some more back and forth I finally get an “okay I’ll work on it” in the most nasty, annoyed tone, and an eye roll. I’ll been calling this man, very politely, the entire time for the last 4.5 hours with little to no help. I show up before they close, and I’m the only person waiting. Pharmacist: WE NEED YOUR HELP. WE DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU NEED. Problems will get solved quicker by picking up the phone or sending an email. He finally filled the prescription and my nightmare was over… He argued with me for longer in the store than it took to fill it. CVS needs to speak with this staff. I shouldn’t feel like I’m do something wrong when picking up medication I need to survive. It was disrespectful, demeaning, and uncalled for. Needless to say, I won’t be using them again."
"CVS does a great job to respond to my needs, I deal with CVS branch @ 1200 First street Washington, DC 20002 , the way they respond and address my needs and request is above and beyond, they made me go back to deal with CVS regularly, medication is ready in a timely manner, pharmacist provides professional guidance when needed, all pharmacy team is well chosen. I recommend this branch to many of people around me."
"The middle age male pharmacist with an accent is the worst. He is rude and unhelpful. I asked him about a prescription refill date since the one he gave me was different than what has been previously for 6 months and he snapped back at me “do you work for the pharmacy or insurance company? “ I said no but that’s wht has been previously. He rudely told me “well thats what is now” and hung up. I called again and I tried to be polite! I said “hey sorry I called earlier and I think we got disconnected” and he just hung up! Disgusting!"
"I've had some bad CVS pharmacy experiences, but this one tops the list. The staff provides zero support if (always when) issues occur. They simply acknowledge that they have been aware of the situation for weeks sometimes, and basically tells you to try elsewhere. Oh and refused to look up which nearest pharmacy may have what I need. Just zero empathy or understanding of a major issue for people and society overall in mental health care."
"This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used, period. Their posted hours do not reflect their actual working hours. I'm not sure if it's that the hours listed online are incorrect or that the staff is just unreliable, but regardless, their hours appear to be random. Do not, I repeat do NOT rely on this place if you need to pick up anything important before or after work. They WILL be closed."
