"Garbage location. For the love of Christ, if your agent sends you here for Anything, request a new agent. My agent scheduled an appointment for 9am this morning (and said that cancelling or rescheduling would incur a penalty fee). The location opened at 8am and I arrived at 8:55, only to see that there were 4 other people waiting for their appointments and not a single employee or representative throughout the entire office. After calling my agent, he appeared from behind the counter roughly 5 minutes later. So the staff IS here, they just CHOOSE to ignore the customers in the waiting room, despite their scheduled appointments. Ultimately it's not an inaccurate reflection of the company as a whole, at least in regards to their attitude towards the customers that pay them."
"I have been with Progressive car insurance for 7+ years, even switching states with them when I moved. I have never been so disappointed with the customer service of a business, especially for one that I pay over $130/monthly. My car was recently vandalized and the thieves broke the driver side window and stole the steering wheel airbag. The process to get it repaired has been a nightmare. I submitted the claim on 8/29 by noon. Around 8-9am on 8/30 I spoke with the assigned representative on the phone - she seemed incredibly put out that I had called her to ask about the claim and to get the ball rolling. On 9/1 I dropped the car off at the dealership. Over the next 17 days I would attempt to periodically check in with the insurance company to determine progress. In the beginning week I received 2 text messages stating that progressive adjusters were not available and that the process was taking 3 days longer than typical. But, at no time was I told what the typical timeframe was usually. On the second - third week I reached out to my assigned representative no less than 5 times in various formats (called and left voicemail, texted the number she gave me, and wrote a message in the progressive app) and I never received a response. Several times the dealership reached out to me as they had not contacted the dealership ship yet either. It has now been 21 days in total and, while my car is now fixed, I cannot pick it up because neither myself nor the dealership has been informed of where the payment check has been sent. I let the dealership know that I have yet to receive an answer when I contact them, so now they are trying to reach out to Progressive to get some answers. Overall, I will never recommend Progressive insurance to anybody and I am going to find a new insurance provider as soon as this whole disaster is over."
"Worst company to have in this state, they have unprofessional and dishonest claim adjusters/inspectors, they will deny u any type of help if u only have liability in my experience, I was denied a hit and run claim and left with a high storage payment from the body shop after they told me my car was totaled and I was on my own and now there trying to say after a whole month they contacted me via phone over the past couple days and they never did, my suggestion don’t talk to claim reps without a lawyer by your side"
"It is like pulling teeth to get them to complete an estimate. My car has been down for over 50 days because they won’t give the repair shop what is being asked for. I was passed around to 3 different agents 2-3 supervisors and still no progress. Only getting 2 stars based off verbal promises to extend the rental car and wave the deductible from the supervisor."
"My husband was rear ended at a light by a driver covered by this company. They totaled our vehicle and paid us for it and a PIP payment was issued. My husband was injured, he had a shoulder surgery, they refused to pay for . They told the attorney he closed the case , it wasn’t true . So I don’t have anything good to say about them at this point . Get an attorney first , don’t go to their office or sign anything."
