"I just love them. I'm a single mom who knows absolutely nothing about cars and I never feel like they are swindling me. Their prices are great and they treat me with respect. That hadn't been my experience at other automotive shops. I highly recommend them"
"Excellent mechanic you can trust. The best in thed area. Call Terry!"
"Terry is the best! Very trustworthy, fair and funny! We have taken many of our cars to him over the years. Hgave never been disappointed. I wouldn't go anywhere else."
"Terry is the best! Woke up with a flat tire in the garage - just had surgery and could not change it. Called Terry at 6:55, 5 minutes before they opened at 7 am. He was so nice, cracking jokes and is coming over to help. Thanks Terry and Mt Freedom Automotive!"
"Summary: THESE GUYS STINK! Gene (owner), Terry (lead mechanic) and Adam (junior mechanic) are rude, dismissive, brash and will make you feel like you’re doing them a favor by asking for their services. Took my old Toyota FJ truck into this BP Sept 2012 to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. The truck has no top, so I wanted to get it done before the winter. Terry did the work. While he treated me like I was trying to sell him something, I let it go… too much trouble to reschedule somewhere else. $170 later, I parked the truck in the garage for the winter. Spring: opened garage door and had tranny fluid all over the floor. I tried to get back to BP b/t my schedule, theirs and the rain for months. Finally got there in August 2013 and talked to owner Gene (white hair) who owns the place, but you would never know it. He doesn’t smile, isn’t friendly and defers all mechanic scheduling and decisions to Terry and his #2, Adam. Terry was out this week but Adam was there, both bays were open and he said I could bring it in. Went home, got truck and drove back. Adam crawled underneath with a flashlight, said the pan was leaking, crawled out and said Terry did the repair so Terry would have to fix. WHAT!? I said “so that’s it? I just came down here b/c you told me you would fix the mistake and now you won’t fix it b/c the other mechanic was the one who did the work? “Yep.” Are you f-ing kidding me? So there are bolts, threads, pan, gasket. Is this rocket science for a mechanic? The BP sign says “BP - Locally owned. Locally operated. Thank you for your support.” Well guess what. They just blew it for every independently owned shop. If I got it done at a chain like Pep Boys, Firestone, Sears, anywhere, I would have had it done months ago with apologies for my troubles. I guess this BP has enough business to treat people this way–they just don’t care. I would avoid this station like the plague. 1173 Sussex Turnpike."
