Visitors can experience a sense of peace and spirituality while standing by the cross, reading God's word, and praying. "On a warm spring day I walk up the paved road to see the breathtaking view from the cross...you can sit and get lost in thought and renew your spirit...it's a must see ..."
"Serene. Peaceful. Beautiful. Just wow. A must see. A memorable experience."
"What a beautiful monument! So serene, you can't help but feel at peace. I was fortunate enough to have the mountain to myself (along with my dog) and can't begin to explain the "freedom" you feel, standing next to that cross. Worries and anxiety disappear for a little while, and you really have a sense of calm. I arrived for sunrise (highly suggest) and stayed for about an hour. The view is spectacular!"
"I'm not a religious person at all but wanted to see the cross passing thru. But seeing it & being at the top, really spoke to me. It was beautiful. It was a nice hike up the paved path."
"The cross is Great! You have to walk a long ways up hill to see it and it is on private property. There was a gate across the road so we didn't go all the way up the hill. But it is very impressive and there is a beautiful view overlooking a city, I'm just not sure which city. There is parking available and no cost. It is also close to a battlefield which we didn't have time to check out, but it's something to make note of when visiting the area."
