"It was very difficult for me to make an appt at this office. I sent an email first on April 13th with no response. It took multiple calls and a voicemail (with no return call) till I finally was able to make my appt for 8/10 at 8 AM. I did receive a text on Tuesday 8/10 to remind me and confirm said appt. I arrived at the office at 8:10 AM. The weather was downcasted and traffic was like usual. I had thought there would be a grace period but they are very adamant of a "late policy," which is very understandable for a business, however, I was never told of such a policy nor that I should be there ahead of time to fill in paperwork. I walked in at 8:10 AM said hello to who I am assuming is Dr. Chan (who left promptly) and the receptionists. I would like to note that the receptionist was very kind and professional during this time. As I was sitting down (8:11 AM) I was told by the receptionist that I could only have my exams done and would have to reschedule for my cleaning (September being the next available date). By the time I finished filling out the paperwork this would be the only option if the next patient was to be seen on time. This could not work for me due to my own plans which would take me out of the state until the coming year which I had mentioned when first making the appt. I decided to leave politely and not waste the receptionists, next patient, and my own time. I only left the two star review because I felt that Dr. Chan could of said this herself instead of leaving it to the receptionist to be the bearer of bad news. As I have been in the position of the receptionist in the past I have had my fair share of grumpy patients. I do acknowledge that there was a lack of communication and my own tardiness. S/N: I would have just left this as a two star but thought I should explain my reasoning after the response left by the office."

"My adult son and I went in for a routine cleaning. It was the first time we had been in since Dr. Hirsch left his practice. I had asked friends for recommendations but decided to try out Dr. Chan ended up doing my cleaning and she was great. Her staff was very nice and pleasant. I will definitely go back."
