Giant Pharmacy

"Went to the doctor at 830am, was home by 930. As I'm leaving my house at 4pm to pick up my prescription Giant Pharmacy calls to tell me they don't have my medication and it might be tomorrow. Not sure why it took 7 hours the Pharmacy isn't that big. Had they contacted me in a reasonable time I would have just gone somewhere else since I already spent the entire weekend not feeling well. If you need medication the day you see your doctor try a real Pharmacy not this joke of one. I've used them for many years and they have never been prompt on filling prescriptions. Usually takes a few hours which is why I gave them several. The staff is friendly and nice, just not effective at filling what the doctor ordered, maybe they are stocking the grocery shelves."

"This place is absolutely ridiculous! Do not use this pharmacy. Terrible customer service. They turned what should have been a simple transfer of medication into one of the most frustrating and ridiculous experiences I've ever encountered. They will also tell you one thing one day, then another a different day and call you a lier. They are incompetent and unprofessional. Stay away!!!"

"I’ve been there a few times. No one is friendly. They’ve forgotten about my order before and I waited over an hour to get. Another time, my dr sent in script a few times that my insurance kept saying needs prior authorization. So my dr told me to pay cash. When I called the pharmacy they said they need the dr to tell them that. What’s the difference?!?! My dr already sent in the script twice bc I needed the meds. It’s just crazy. And again, when they told me that this was the case, they were rude."

"I don't understand these negative reviews. The staff here is always nice and courteous. They fill scripts quickly and are great with vaccines and insurance coverage, for said vaccines. I've never been treated rudely, never wait for any long lengths of time. The people leaving poor reviews because pharmacists won't discuss their schedule 1,2,3's in stock, is standard practice. They all tell you have to come in for questions about restricted meds. Because pharmacies are constantly hit and held up! Anything more expected from this staff and the pharmacy, is unrealistic. I'd also suggest the nay sayers go stand in line at a cvs or walgreens in Silver Spring, then they'll actually experience slow wait times and rude staff."

"I’ve had to use this pharmacy twice now and both times I’ve been there the head pharmacist and the cashier have been extremely rude and nasty and very unprofessional very sad for a profession that has to deal with sick and ill people the last thing that they need is to come into the pharmacy and have to deal with very rude and nasty people that are very uncaring. I know I’m not the only one that’s had this experience at this Giant Pharmacy"
