Tooth Clues - The Dental Detective for Kids

"We were referred to Tooth Clues b/c my 7 y/o daughter had some dark spots that needed X-rays and she was scared to move forward. Dr. T and Agent K explained everything and within 5 minutes sh had the X-rays. No surprise, she had a cavity that needed to be filled. I was sure this was going to end in tears, but I was wrong! The staff explained what was happening and their bedside manner made all the difference. Dr. T walked me through everything, told me how to adjust flossing and brushing and sent us on our way. Highly recommend!"

"I have taken both of my children to Tooth Clues a couple of times now, and I must say it’s always a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm environment for the little ones. The waiting area is kid-friendly, with toys and activities to keep them engaged. The dental assistant/dentist are patient and gentle, making the check-up a breeze for my children. They took the time to explain oral hygiene in a kid-friendly way, fostering a positive attitude toward dental care. I highly recommend this kids’ dentist for their excellent service and child-focused approach! Kids loved the treasure chest to pick something out at the end!"

"We have been coming here for about a year now. It started when my then five year old son had his first X-rays completed at another location and was said that he needed 3 cavities filled. It would be done with needles, Novocain, and all 3 had to be done. I decided to get a second opinion because that seemed a bit drastic for a 5 year old. First, Agent T (Dr.Takiar) spent time listening to me over the phone about my concerns and talked to me about her approach. She is very calming, eased my anxieties, and came across very knowledgeable/ professional. We had our records sent over and had our initial visit to get our second opinion. She went over the X-rays and noted that not all three had to be done at this time. We would complete the one or two, use sedation, but the biggest thing is that SHE DOESN’T USE NEEDLES!!! Man, if only I had that experience as a child!!! Anyways, we have now gone to two checkups now and recently had another set of X-rays completed. The one tooth that was of concern before is still in the stage of being watched, but still does not require work. At our most recent visit, Agent T’s team has grown and everyone is very kind and friendly. From the receptionist to Kennya, the dental assistant who was extremely patient with my son who decided that today he didn’t want his teeth cleaned. Then when Agent T came in to go over the X-rays and check his teeth, again, she was extremely patient and light-hearted when my son decided today he was going to be a little more stubborn. I also want to note on a personal level, my child is neurodivergent. Agent T and her team work with you as the parent to make sure it is a positive experience. You are a part of the experience and decisions at every step. Lastly, can we talk about how cute the theme and space is?! The mystery theme, mascot/logo, the wall art, tvs on the ceiling, headphones, sunglasses, prize box, the Top Agent board, the fun waiting room area with the technology to play games on the floor by tapping with your feet, and overall how clean, bright, and cheery everything is. Anyways, we’re happy and highly recommend Agent T and her team at Tooth Clues! I wish I had this experience as a child. She really cares."
