"The receptionist is extremely rude. I’ve been going to this dentist office since highschool (2008) and I called to schedule a procedure. Apparently my dentist, Dr. Freed, no longer preforms this procedure. I obviously had no clue and the receptionist responded as if I SHOULD have known this information. She was extremely rude, so rude I politely ended the call. She needs additional hospitality training."
"The office is outdated and looks like something out of a 1960's horror movie. The receptionist has no personality and I have never seen her get up from behind the desk. She is very lazy. Dr. Freed's bedside manor is horrible. I had to have prior authorizations for a procedure and not only did the lazy receptionist not help but she told me that it was my job to find out if my procedure was approved or not. Excuse me. Isn't it your job to that. I am a customer and I shouldn't have to track down paperwork when that is your job. They are the worst and I will no longer go there. I wouldn't send my dead cat there."
"The receptionist is very rude. I canceled a hour before the appointment and she told me to find another dentist. I spoke with the doctor and he told me the procedures due to COVID-19 I agreed and complied. I call back to schedule a appointment she told me again to find another dentist I’ve told her the doctor cleared me. Long story short I like the way that one doctor guy clean my teeth but they’re not the only ones that clean teeth."
"The front desk office assistant is rude. She will let not let you ask any questions. She is very condescending and assumes that future patients do not understand that there is a process for every procedure. I do not recommend."
"HORRIBLE! This place is terrible! Been going here for a couple years now, They accept our insurance & we liked the one female dentist. Well one day she up & left out of the blue. So we got stuck seeing Dr. Freed. We weren't happy about it but willing to give him a try. It was awful dealing with him! The whole office isn't that great to start with. They are all rude and unprofessional & all have attitude problems. Specially the older lady at the front desk, she always seems to be very short with everyone! So our last he said he found a cavity in our 5yr old daughters mouth, FIRST thing out of his mouth TO HER was how he would have to stick a NEEDLE in her gums! So of course she starts to cry and get upset, he continues to clean her teeth while she's hysterically crying & i am trying to calm her down. He did absolutely nothing to try and help calm her, seeing as he caused the whole issue that could have easily been avoided. Then he goes on to say "I don't know why she's crying" as if he didn't just unnecessarily upset her! Then he laughed! I couldn't believe it. Then he acted like my child was an issue & he wouldn't do her filling if she acted like this about the situation. So after, i went to the front to schedule the filling appointment and the lady at the front acted like she wasn't going to schedule it, then she acted like... ok fine since you want to try it we will schedule it. Well obviously! So everyday my daughter would only talk about the needle since that is what he put in her head, it stuck there. So the day came for the appointment & my mom went with us to try to help calm her. I go in to try to tell Dr. Freed the good way to handle this situation with her, i suggest we don't mention the needle or let her see it. He then refused to do it saying that my 5yr old has the right to know exactly what is going to happen! Umm no! I am the parent, the adult, you tell me! A child doesn't need to know, obviously she will be upset. Finally he agrees to try it after my mother had to step in and say something, at this point it was clear the whole office had an attitude towards us. We go back and he showed no interest in even trying to do the filling. My daughter was crying & in no way did anyone in that office say anything positive or try to calm her or the situation at all. Then he proceeded to talk to me as if i was a bad mother, saying how if it was his child he would be concerned about their safety, as if i wasn't! I just wanted to calm my daughter enough to get this done, not one person in that office even spoke to her or tried to make her feel comfortable. Then he goes on to say how "Sharp objects will be going in her mouth" because that helped the situation. After that, I'd had enough & decided to take her elsewhere. So after all that, my mom says to ME "I think it's time to find a new dentist" then Dr.Freed felt the need to step in and say "YUP!" I couldn't believe the nerve of this guy! & the rest of the office with how they acted but it really was no shock since we've heard them multiple times talk about their patients & the female dentist who use to work for them, who we use to see. They would talk about patients, amongst themselves, while the person is on hold! Or after they leave. So i know they talked about me & my mother when we left. So later that day i took my daughter to a different dentist who thought it was crazy he ever said the word needle to or in front of a child. They said common sense with children you keep them in the dark about all of that, like i asked Dr.Freed to do! My daughter went to this place & got x rays for the first time & got her cavities taken care of with no issues! They even said she was one of the best patients they've had & followed direction & did everything beautifully. They finished in no time! & it was 2 cavities, not 1, HE MISSED A CAVITY! come to find out from that dentist & others, he's known for not being very good. He's also very rough and rushes through. We won't be going back to him! Funny how when a situation is handled properly, it goes perfectly smooth. He's awful!"
