"My grandson had been going to Celebree for 3 years. The turn over with teachers was horrible. Management doesn’t communicate what is going on. My grandson on one particular day (this being his last day) my husband and I went to pick him up and the kids were all outside in the yard playing, my husband and I peeked through the window looking for our grandson before going out the door. I said to my husband where is he, he said he was in corner historically crying. We went out the door and noticed 1 teacher sitting on the ground on his phone. We went over to my grandson to find out what was going on and he said he was trying to explain himself to the teacher and she screamed at him and told him to stop lying. He said that a child had hit him. I asked what teacher and he told me and i started looking for her, when I found her she was behind the play area where she couldn’t be noticed and on her phone. I asked her what happened and she said that my grandson wanted a toy that another kid was playing with. My grandson looked right at the young lady and told her that wasn’t true and she yelled at him horribly. I told her and the gentlemen that was sitting on ground that they both put my grandson in unsafe situation with no real supervision. I let them know he would not be returning. I went right in management office to let them know what happened and that day would be my grandsons last day. The lady there said sorry and this should not have happened and that she will let upper management know. My husband and I had been paying for our grandsons daycare there and we had never missed one payment and they want to charge us for the last 2 weeks for no notice. I also would like to add that ever since we removed my grandson from this school he no longer has stuttering issues."
"My 3-year-old twins recently started at the Severna Park location. One of my boys is very sensitive to basically everything and has had a difficult time adjusting. Ms. Stephanie and Ms. April were so reassuring to me that things would get better and to not be embarrassed about my son needing to be literally carried into the classroom kicking and screaming. I left in tears so many mornings with a broken mama heart and so much guilt for putting that stress on the teachers and other kids. The boys' teachers, Ms. Asianna (I hope I spelled that correctly), Mr. Tyler, and Ms. Layla have been phenomenal. They are so calm and comforting to the boys. Cole, my sensitive guy, always goes straight to them for comfort despite not wanting to stay. They are phenomenal teachers and have helped them tremendously in transitioning school life. Today, they both finally walked into school with no tears or fight. Just happy to be there and see their teachers and friends. This is 100% the result of the staff's dedication, experience, and patience. I will forever be grateful for them. It's a great team."
"Celebree schools teachers are amazing! They made sure to welcome my daughter when she started in infants. They were very understanding and helped get her on some sort of schedule. The school has fun events/fundraisers for families and children and even the teachers. Their summer camp is amazing they had fun field trips planned that my son enjoyed. Overall great experience teachers are great with communication."
"How this school has such high ratings is beyond me. My 5 (almost 6) year old stepson went to this daycare/pre-k for over 2 years before kindergarten. Celebree did not prepare him AT ALL for kindergarten. He went to kindergarten, unable to sound out his letters, or even recognize letters from the alphabet. He’s behind on reading and recognizing sight words. These are basic things that you would expect from such a school. I do not recommend this school or daycare."
"My son attended Celebree for a grand total of 2 weeks. His teachers were nice from what I could tell but my son seemed terrified in every picture they took, which was understandable in a new environment. However, I also had the unique experience of working for this company as well. They sent me to a week of training which I thought was unique and good. It was not helpful in preparing for the hell that followed. At interview, I told them I was working a part time job and wanted to work part time as a teacher for some extra income, instead I got thrown into a full time nightmare where I was asked to do the impossible while also falling victim to petty high school rumors. There was no support or even communication. They just want body's to throw in wherever they can. To top it off, they broke a contract and then didn't communicate I owed a debt. So instead of contacting me they sent it to collections only 2 weeks after the original debt. I do not recommend this school in any way shape or form. Some of the teachers are amazing and they have my highest respect but trust your instincts and if you feel even a little uncomfortable DONT ENROLL! There are so many better schools for your kids."
