Goldfish Swim School - Waugh Chapel

"We love Goldfish swim in Waugh chapel! We had looked at a few schools and even attended a few trials at some other swim schools but felt so much more welcome and like we belonged at Goldfish Swim. The staff is excellent and answered all our questions. The facility is so nice and well maintained. Our son is 6 months old and enjoys his class so much, especially his coach Sophia, he always smiles when he sees her and she greets him with such enthusiasm! My husband and I feel so safe having him there with her and the lifeguards and all the other staff. I would recommend Goldfish Swim in Waugh chapel to anyone looking for a swim school for their young child to learn safety and the basics of swimming!"

"The facility is very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly and always greet you when you walk through the doors. All the instructors there are patient and kind to little toddlers and older children during swim lessons. Please not that when your child pass their swim lesson test, they will move up to their next swim level. He or she may have a new instructor depending on the time slot that you choose for your child. So even though you may want their swim instructor to move to up with your child, which they may not accommodate since swim staff do rotate during time and age slots. All instructors there are very good at what they do during swim lessons. You will definitely see your child progress depending on how well they perform on a weekly basis. Patience is key to a successful learning experience. Definitely worth the investment!"

"I have three kids currently enrolled since June 2023. I'm impressed with how much growth they've had since starting. My older two had formal lessons in the past. My youngest has never had lessons prior to goldfish. I love watching them grow more confident in the water. The staff is amazing. The place is clean. We've enjoyed the free swim time. "We are BLOWN AWAY by our experience here. We started at Kids First Swim School for our 18 mo. old (now 2). After a few months, we weren't happy by the quality of the classes or facility, so we decided to do a trial at Goldfish. It was a night and day difference. First, the class: the teacher was so enthusiastic and friendly, the classes are small and personal (the most we have seen is 5 kids), there are plenty of different toys and tools that are used to help build skills and also have fun (like a slide and a puppet!), and most impressively, an actual curriculum that is displayed every class. Every class is slightly different and our son has made so much progress in just a few weeks here. The pool is very warm. Second, the facility: immediately upon walking inside, we were stunned by the beautiful and bright new building, and the attention to detail is perfection. Everything is so clean and inviting. The front desk staff are helpful and there's a very affordable snack and coffee bar. The swim shop has everything you need at very reasonable prices. There is a large waiting area in front of an all glass wall so every waiting parent can easily see the class no matter where they are sitting. There is a play area with books, coloring, a fish tank, and other activities for before and after class. There are plenty of cubbies for your items right next to the sitting area, and more than enough private changing rooms. There are private bathrooms as well, with a changing station for little ones and baby products (e.g., lotion, wipes) if you forget anything. There are machines to dry your bathing suits, plus a hair drying station. There are showers in the pool area and soap/shampoo available for use. When we signed up, we received a free reusable swim diaper and family swim passes. The kids also get a free prize every week (e.g., lego duck, rubber ducky, stickers), and there frequently are special events. Overall, I feel like we have struck a gold mine and wish more families knew how amazing this school is. It is worth every single dollar."
