Reviews of Waynesboro Endodontics
"Dr. Adams did a root canal through my crown, and I didn’t feel a thing. He was gentle and thorough. Tooth feels ok . Update; Went back two more times with Dr.Adams because the tooth was still hurting after the root canal. He gave me antibiotics didn’t help. Tried other things but nothing worked. To this day it’s still hurting don’t know if I even needed a root canal since nothing changed. Will not go back there anymore!!!! Will take three stars away since I still have the same problem!!!"
"Firstly, I used to LOVE going to the dentist. Over the years, my regular dentist has started giving me dental anxiety. I have fairly nice teeth, but due to a pistachio shell trauma, I ended up needing a root canal. I put it off and put it off, until finally I couldn't any longer. My initial first choice wasn't Waynesboro Endodontics. I quickly learned my other choice was going to set me back a cool $3k out of pocket. I bucked up and made the call to get in with Dr. Adams, everyone was nice and calm, pleasant. After the paperwork at the front desk, Dr. Adams comes to get you, and I think that is a nice touch. He isn't just a person sitting back in a clinical area waiting for you like cattle. He explained what he was doing, during the evaluation, the x-rays, let me ask questions and gave me my options. I needed a root canal through my crown and that's what we did. With my regular dentist I was ready to just pull the tooth and be done with it. I understand the benefits of keeping all your natural teeth for as long as you can. I had a lot of built up anxiety that I was trying to keep a lid on, and Dr. Adams and staff helped me whether they know it or not. I am a heavy grinder, have a hard time keeping my mouth open far enough for any length of time. The bite block they used was a huge help and I didn't encounter any jaw pain or fatigue during the fairly quick procedure. He finished, we did the second x-ray, we talked about it and the after care ( because I always hear how painful it is during or after ) but thankfully it's been two days and I haven't had ANY pain or discomfort at all with anything. The only thing I would say I personally would have liked, and just because I am a curious person, is if he'd given a little narration of what he was doing or what was happening. Other than that, I wish Dr Adams could be my regular dentist. I would suggest that if you need endodontic care, that you consider him, as he is gentle, thorough, educates you on your options and it was a pretty stress free time once we got started."
"Root canal was uncomfortable but not painful. Doctor was very kind and patient with my anxiety about the procedure."
"I needed a root canal and was very nervous about getting it done. Dr. Adams and the rest of the staff were extremely nice, and the procedure itself went by so fast and I didn't feel a thing. I didn't even have much pain the day after, which I was surprised about! I hope I don't need another root canal, but if I do I will definitely go to Dr. Adams again!"
"I had a wonderful experience. I went there to get a root canal on #18 Molar ( back left bottom ) I needed a crown but my dentist didnt want to do anything until my tooth was evaluated incase it was too far gone for a crown. Dr. Adams evaluated my teeth, and saved my tooth by doing a root canal. My tooth needed a decent amount of numbing, but what made my experience so great is he tested several times if I could feel anything and applied anesthetic until all feeling was gone. The other thing he did that made it a great experience is he explained what he was doing right before he did it to make me feel more relaxed and aware of what he was about to do. It was a painless procedure. If no one has ever had a root canal, it does take while up to an hour. Even though your not in pain, you do feel like you have to swallow all the time, and something in your throat, but you get used to it in a few minutes. I have two more teeth that need root canals in the near future, I will 100% be going back to see Dr. Adams to have those teeth fixed. Also I am thankful they accept Aetna Dental plans which is discounted prices. So instead of like a 1700 dollar procedure, it cost me 902 dollars. Cant beat that. Staff was polite and professional, the place was very clean, lots of space."
