"This is the most deplorable establishment I’ve ever been to. The manager is rude and arrogant. To think the amount of times we’ve donated to this place for them to treat my family as awfully as they have. I hope someone sees this. The manager needs to replaced. This is a charitable organization and either it’s a scam organization or this woman is giving the entire chain a bad name"

"I’ve never had a worse experience visiting a store. The manager Chele does not know how to speak with customers and was extremely dismissive and barely wanted to talk to me. I wanted to buy an item that was on the floor with a tag that said .99 and she refused to sell it to me because apparently the tag was not labeled correctly. Even after I said I was willing to pay the price of the item she refused to sell it to me and would not turn to face me or talk to me when I tried talking to her. Needless to say they may need to train their employees on what customer service means and I’m not sure how she has the position she does with that attitude and what seems like a distaste for people. The cashier and other employee were very nice and maybe one of them could replace her."

"I went into the Salvation Army for the first time today. I found a couple of cute handmade baby blankets and I was very excited. One was marked $5.99 and the other small baby blanket was Marked $.99 - I got up to pay for it at the front desk and she told me the $.99 sticker was wrong and the manager walked out and told me it was $3.99. I argued with her because it was the principle! It was marked a certain price and I walked up there and she increased it on me! I told her it wasn’t fair and she never even offered me the two dollar difference she told me if I didn’t like it I didn’t have to come back. The place was empty and full of overpriced brand new Zara clothing. I much prefer going to the Goodwill in Rockaway- and it’s cheaper! Much better items and the customer service is so much better. I don’t usually leave reviews but this really upset me. You can SEE she added the red “3” to the front of the original tag."

"Horrible horrible store and service. Came at 4:20pm they close at 5pm the ladyman closed the door in my face and told me I couldn’t come in. People were still shopping inside. Just horrible."

"I love this place, they have a great selection of utilitarian items as well as a varied mix of decorative items/ knick-nacs. There's also some really weird and obscure things one finds every so often. I periodically visit this store and every time I find something useful and interesting"
