"I have no idea how this place has so many 5 star reviews. Complete waste of $85. First, I noticed right away for such a ''nice'' restaurant we only had paper napkins. With the fine dining price tag, I expected cloth. My wife's salad had large chunks of romaine, chef's were too lazy to break it up apparently. Then our main meals come. My wife got the ''homemade'' tortelli. That must be what it says on the package they get them out of, it was clearly not fresh pasta because you cannot make fresh pasta that al dente. I ordered the prime rib, medium rare. First thing I notice is the steak was barely luke warm despite being cooked medium-well, it was obviously precooked and just barely reheated. For prime rib, it was very dry. My side was corn pudding, it barely had any corn in it but that was kind of a good thing because the corn was extremely chewy. Must have made it with leftover corn from 2 days before, it was disgusting which was a shame because the pudding had great flavor. My other side was mashed potatoes and they were gummy, obviously over beaten. My wife only ate 1/2 of the tortelli, and did not feel well the rest of the night. We actually think the honey-mustard dressing on the salad was to blame, it did taste really weird. In short, obviously we will never be setting foot in this restaurant again. We have a literal bad taste in our mouths. It's clear to us the owner is just interested in huge profit, delivering sub-par leftover food for premium prices. Perhaps their seafood is good, which is how they have good reviews, and I was debating getting the lobster roll which I totally wish I would have gotten now. So, my advice if you do still go here is to order seafood. Oh, I almost forgot. On my way out I used the restroom. After washing my hands I noticed the air blower hand dryer didn't work and no other option in sight, so I just flap my hands in the air a bit to dry them somewhat and I walk out of the bathroom and inform this fact to the person at the desk. They were like ''oh that's why these paper towels are sitting here''. Maybe, just a wild thought here, put that roll of paper towels in the bathroom? Seriously, the whole experience from start to finish was a complete fail."
"This was one of the best seafood experiences I have had since moving to this area...service and food was exceptional...atmosphere is cozy and nice...also an outdoor patio if you want to be outside...everyone was pleasant and nice...I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood..."
"First time here and found this gem by accident on a Friday night. Let me preface this by saying it's a bit pricey but so worth it! Thanks for another restaurant not fitting us in. Pulling up it had a quaint atmosphere, with outside seating. Upon entering, the 3 of us were greeted and without reservations were sat promptly at a table in close proximity of the bar. It's not a huge place but quickly filled with customers and some waiting for tables. Our waitress Connie was very attentive and eager to make our experience great. I ordered the drink special of raspberry lemon drop martini, hubby got an old fashioned and mom had a mango martini which we all enjoyed. Mom & I ordered the Jumbo Lump Chesapeake Crab Haddock Imperial topped with shrimp and wow absolutely amazing! Hubby got the Usda Prime Angus New York Strip With Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and said it was amazing as well. Portions are huge. Will definitely be coming back!"
