"I would rather get cancer and go through chemo again than stay another night here. We went for a romantic weekend and it turned into a terrible experience. $225 for a suite with a jacuzzi and it was horrid. THE SMOKE DETECTORS WERE NOT INSTALLED!!! Bed was dirty, hand sized stains on the walls, stains on the doors, door frame was coming off, AND MOLD IN THE JACUZZI!! I’m a big guy and I always wanted to soak in a big tub with bath bombs. I finally had a chance to but it was so horrid! I never got to use one. The Manager of the shift did not care about what happened. He acted like we were an annoyance to not sleep in a moldy, dirty, unkept room. A hotel manager should be ashamed that the room was is such bad conditions. We were offered a downgrade and a half refund, we took it because we could not book anyware else at this point of the day and not spend $300 more dollars. So we stayed at the next room and even then there were still issues found. If you can’t get a good B&B just find a hotel chain that may be far but safer than what you will experience. Stay away."

"If you like fire safety and health violations this is the place! Hubby and I wanted a relaxing weekend getaway, and booked this place for it's location and more specifically the whirlpool tub suite. Walked in to find 1. Two smoke detectors on the TV console (one with batteries poking out) 2. Dirty and worn carpets/walls/floors 3. Debris and dirt in the bed 4. A large brown-red stain on the wall 5. Non-working lights and bathroom fan 6. Torn furniture 7. Said whirlpool tub caked with mildew and rust/lime around the spouts. I wouldn't pay $50 for this place much less the $220 we were charged. Went to the desk and the clerk was kind and apologetic, and we were offered a couple choices. It being after 4 we chose to take a different room and a discount (which we did receive). The room was...better, marginally. Still clearly worn and of questionable cleanliness but we were tired and frustrated. Spoke to management the next day who did apologize but also tried to make excuses 'mistakes happen' and brushed me off when I tried to show him the pictures we'd taken. This wasn't 'a mistake'. This place is clearly suffering from a pattern of neglect, which is sad because you can tell it used to be quite nice."

"A friendly place, clean an simple, all the staff were genuine and helpful. We were here in the middle winter, cold and snowing! The parking lot was plowed quickly making it easy to get in and out. Great breakfast in the mornings to start your day. Prices are reasonable, we would certainly return."

"Our room was clean, smelled good, was pet friendly and the beds and bedding were ultra comfortable. For the price and location you really can’t beat it. It’s was winter but I imagine when the summer comes around and the pool and tennis court are open it’s even nicer. We were pleasantly surprised and the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and get information from as well about local happenings. We waited too long to book a place and this was the only one that had a few vacancies but I’m glad because otherwise we wouldn’t have discovered how nice this place is."

"I stayed here for an event and paid $250 for the night. Unfortunately, the property is not worth the price. Some quick pros - the lobby and bar area are updated and very nice looking. The bar had music playing at night and it was a very lively setting. As for the factors that unfortunately stuck out to me - the quality of the room was not worth the price I paid. The size was honestly fine. Some other reviewers commented on the size which I can get as the bathroom is certainly small but that didn’t detract from it. What did detract from the experience was the bathroom ceiling was falling apart and showed early signs of mold. There were stains on my towels and one of the pillows. The main light in the room wouldn’t work. If the room was cheaper, I probably would just not even think about it. But for $250 for the night - it was absolutely not up to par. If this place put some money into renovating the rooms, I believe it would be an ideal destination for those visiting New Hope as it is only a short drive to the downtown area."
