"Beware this is not a camping resort! It is a 500 acre rundown trailer park. Only has maybe a dozen sites for rv’s and not all of the have full hook ups. The entire RV area is infested with red ants! No fire rings or picnic tables on most of the sites. The 12x12 guard shack is also the camp store not much more than toothpaste and soda. Bath house was horrible not maintained at all. No real boat launch at the river or lake photos on web site were very carefully taken. Please do yourself a favor and pick another place to stay!"
"I was a regular golf player at Four Winds Campground and Golf Resort years ago. Everyone knew me and all I had to do was walk into the snack bar/restaurant and they already knew what I wanted and would automatically fix it. The steak & Cheese subs and fries were delicious and my favorite. I went back a few weeks ago for the first time, since they reopened and I was extremely disappointed in the golf course. Anyone that knows anything about golf, can tell you that this golf course is not anywhere near ready to golf on. If they started right now and hired professionals to fix it, that golf course would not be ready to play on until at least next year, if then. I would not recommend wasting your time and money going there. I was completely shocked at how bad its gone downhill, knowing what it was like many years ago. The cheeseburger was still tasty but the chili dog that I ordered was nasty, and I couldn't eat it. How do you mess up a chili dog? I can't believe they have a grand reopening coming up and a radio station advertising Four Winds Campground and Golf Resort."
"Four Winds is a great place to spend quality time with your friends and family. They have a lake, a pond, and a river that you can fish in they also have a restaurant that has delicious and very affordable food. There's a nice big pool And you can rent golf carts during your stay to cruise around the campground. In the spring and summer, they have dances at the pavilion which are always fun. It's a nice place to come relax and enjoy yourself"
"They keep what they own clean and everyone we meet was very friendly. However, there is an extreme over abundance of run down, over grown and abandoned campers everywhere. To be fair the broad members are making get strides in attempting to clean the place up and we hope they continue to do so. They do have fun activities too."
"It's a good place to unwind. Weekends you have bands, or DJ, has a quaint little Restrauant, pool, golf course I love my place in their. They have events for kids and adults"
