"To the person who stayed in this room before us, you need to stay in a kennel next time because you're a filthy animal. Hair and urine all over the bathroom, toothpaste on the faucet and mirror. Gross. To the housekeeping crew, please just quit. You obviously don't care about your job and your customer's experience. Useless."
"Second visit, was hoping for a better experience. Glass shower door and wall were obviously not cleaned. Details like this reflect on what else may have not been properly attended to. TVs are unusually small considering ; not sure what’s up with that. **If cold air is as important to you as it is us … Worst AC here Would not cool well in both visits. I think they govern the temps. We set for 65 and it never got below 73. Very uncomfortable for us while sleeping. We won’t be back. I flushed 19k points on this one. Not very happy. Otherwise rooms are up to date and nice."
"Avoid at all costs!!! This hotel is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in the states or abroad... I knew trouble was brewing when I first arrived. There was a really odd smell in the foyer. I looked past that and proceeded to check-in. Upon check-in, it felt like I was bothering the staff, by simply getting room keys.... The front staff were disengaged and did not greet you upon arrival. When I got to my room, the door was open. As I started to unpack and get settled in, it was clear little to no cleaning has been done in thr bathroom. Just as well, I had brought my own Lysol wipes. The next day, I expected room service to clean the room and refresh replace the used towels in the bathroom. No such luck, I was out all day and housekeeping did not come. At this point I had to put in a request for new towels. As no one answered the phones for the front desk, used the app, to request new towels. I had to wait over an hour for clean towels to be brought up to the room. The following day, I asked for housekeeping on the room. The request was acknowledged, so I was thinking to myself great "the used towels that were on the floor would be taken away.... No such luck, the towels were still on the floor even though the room had a visit from housekeeping. To add insult to injury the room door was not closed behind housekeeping when they left. Upon checking out l, was not asked how my stay was. Again it felt like I was a bother to the front desk staff. Moral of the story, is that I should have booked with Hilton across the street. Should I return to Pittsburgh again, I will most definitely be staying with Hilton. Corporate sent out a ln email a day or so after my trip. I told them all the issues with I'd encountered while staying at this hotel. I was informed that it was unacceptable. I did as k them to make it right, as I would liken to give Marriott another chance. I haven't heard anything since, I sent that email. This locations is in complete shambles. How they still have their flag to be called a Marriot is perplexing, especially since other people have had an issue. Well I guess there have been very many lessons learned."
"Cake to stay at this hotel from NC. I have 2 kids and the whole reason i paid more to stay here is because of all the reviews and the fact it has a indoor pool. Apparently this site has been under constant renovations. When we arrived sunday the pool, fitness and laundry were closed for construction. The rooms are "ok" but the trash cans are small and fill up quickly. I had to walk to the front desk and as ask for towels and room service since that was NOT being taken care of. The breakfast is subpar. Nothing special AT ALL! the photos on the hotels website are glamorized. The staff could care less about their jobs, they have NO personality and could use some training in customer service. Mikey checked me in and he was FANTASTIC and so helpful. We are here for a week and the pool is still closed. Yesterday there was arguing in the lobby between the manager and workers, unprofessional!!! also at breakfast the front desk lady grabbed a plate of breakfast for her self and proceeded to sit at the check in desk and eat. She didn't bother to greet any of the guests down stairs and if you needed something, she would shoutacross the way i stead of getting up to help. I'm not one to complain, but i WILL NEVER stay at this hotel again. My advice would be to call and book your reservation or call answers of time and ask questions. I was fooled by the reviews and just appalled at the way the staff treats their clients."
"We have stayed at this hotel several times. Customer service has steadily went down. This time was the worst and will be our LAST!!! We stayed 4 night with no service!! Had to go downstairs every night for towels after we repeatedly asked for at least towel service. We even had to go get toilet paper!! Garbage cans all overflowing when we left. We stacked all dirty towels in the hall because we had no place to put them! People that worked there were rude and could care less if we were helped! Also some were on the argumentative side! We have stayed at lots of Marriott’s properties with great service however Fairfield Inn in Monaca PA we will NOT stay there again!!!"
