"I have purchased all chemicals and pool supplies here for the past 3 years. Yesterday, I took my pump in hoping for guidance on fixing. They did not have the correct part, so I found it elsewhere. I stopped in today with the pump, asking which seal I needed to complete the pump - and was completely taken aback with the response. The lady who helped me yesterday, was upset that I came back today with another question. As soon as the gentleman started assisting me, I observed her whispering something to another worker. I assumed this was about me, but unsure why. She came over to where the other employee was assisting me and gave me “attitude” about being there. At this point, I had no idea why she was so upset. I told her that I was working with another employee - and asked why she was upset. She informed me that I was “wasting their time” with pump questions. Again - I was completely taken back. I 100% thought this was what they were there to do. She proceeded to walk over to another employee and whisper. At this point, i had enough disrespect and asked her if there was an issue. She again said - that I wasted her time yesterday and was wasting more time today. (She helped me for 7-10 minutes yesterday) That said - I have always purchased my pool (and hot tub) supplies here, and get my water tested bi-weekly - which usually results in a purchase each time. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the past 3 years - but will now take my business elsewhere. I am still unsure why she was so angry - as I had questions about a pool product - and this is their job. Furthermore, getting the correct seals for my pump allows me to fully open my pool - which means purchasing even more chemicals and accessories from them (revenue for their store) This place is close , the front desk guy is always extremely helpful and they have what I need - But - I will never step foot back in this place. I went to another local pool supply store right after, and was treated with respect and quickly helped. I did not feel like a Nuisance whatsoever, and was able to get my pump working again. Statistics indicate that it costs $715 to obtain a new customer - Unfortunately - it only takes one lady having a bad day / attitude to lose one. Just my $0.02"

"I rated them 1 star 9 years. If I could rate them lower than that now, I would. Do not buy from them, their customer service is as bad as the quality of the merchandise they sell. The very expensive pool we purchased is simply falling apart. Tried to get replacement parts and found out they buy the cheapest products they can find at the moment and then can not support them even after a year. Stay away!!"

"We recently purchased a firepit from the Pool and Spa Outlet. Initially there were problems with the accessories included in the packaging from the factory. Pool & Spa quickly stepped up and ordered additional parts and helped us with the install. Once assembled there were problems with the firepit as a result of how it was manufactured. We were uncomfortable with the firepit and Pool & Spa quickly offered us a return on the product and a refund of our money. I was very impressed with how Pool & Spa stood by their products. This is not the first product we have purchased from them. I have always been impressed with their professionalism and their service. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends."

"Terrible follow up service. They installed our marquis hot tub cover wrong. Mark said he would be out over 6 months ago. Still no Mark or resolution. They are great with taking your money at the time of sale but you better not have a service issue. Run away from this place unless you want to be screwed!!"
