"Spent the weekend at this place for a faith based youth camp. The banquet place we rented was just enough size for our needs, bathrooms were clean, the kitchen we used although showings its age was good enough for us, at a budget we can afford. Important thing everything works, we have been able to prepare our meals. The lodge is decent, clean, no frills, again suits our needs and budget. Good ambiance, haven’t checked other areas of this place. Considering it for our future activities"
"It's a great place. The cowboy weekend was fun for everyone. I'm glad this place is so close to home."
"Love this place. Wonderful, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Nice playground and pool. Great, huge gazebo type building used for large crowds with capability of having a group play music or have a preaching service. Grounds also have a comfortable, clean lodge with family friendly rooms."
"I have been coming to Summit Grove for over 40 years. It is a Christian campground that promotes Christian values. The atmosphere is relaxing and the people who attend Family Camp are very friendly. The speakers are really good and their messages are always on point. Why? Because they teach from the Bible. The many volunteers that work to maintain the grounds and help to upkeep the buildings are wonderful. Folks don't often realize what goes on behind the scenes but the volunteers are priceless. Because the camp has many trees and lots of wooded areas, yes, there are bugs that bite (I get eaten up often), yet I can honestly say that I have never heard of anyone getting bed bugs while staying in the Lodge. I think perhaps those who talk of bed bugs really got eaten up by the bugs that come out in the evening, like what happens to me. I love Summit Grove and would highly recommend it to any Christian church group who would like to have a retreat or event here. Lots of room to move about and a very safe environment for all."
"I have been going to Summit Grove for many activities be over the years. There is something very special about the grounds and you can feel God,'s presence as you walk the grounds and realize how many people accepted Christ there and many more called into ministry. The grounds are well kept and the new Lodge is especially nice. The food is good for or camp food. They have a nice in ground pool and lots of outdoor games and bike riding for kids both on the grounds and across the road on the North Central bike trail. Remember, this is still a "camp" and not the Hilton, but is a clean family friendly place to stay and get spiritually recharged."
