"Went on a November Saturday night tour with some friends, my grandchildren, and my dog, Shorty. Our guide, Rebecca was an excellent guide and story teller. I found the stories she told fascinating, and they did not scare the grandkids (or the adults). She did not let a hyperactive child (not mine) derail her presentations. A true professional. My friends and I did notice Shorty was staring at a tree and The Run next to the Small Cottage. Going at night really added to the ambiance. I do plan on going again in the summer so I will be able to see more of our surroundings. On a side note - one of my friends lives in a house that belonged to one of the ghosts discussed on the tour. The next day, while our grandkids played basketball at a park next to a graveyard, we noticed Shorty kept staring at the graveyard, so we took her there for a walk. When we decided to go back to the basketball court, she refused to budge. I said let's see where she wants to go. She turned towards a small hill and was in such a hurry it was like Lassie showing us where Timmy had fallen in the well. She stopped at the gravesite of the first owners of my friend's house and the ghost that was discussed on the tour."
