"I used to take my car here regularly for oil changes. Until... My check engine light came on. I used my own code reader to check the code. P1157. I googled the code and realized this is for O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1. So I take my car in and tell Ever, It's P1157, I need to replace the O2 sensor. So he charges me $240 and replaces the sensor. A few days later, the light comes back on. For the past few months, I have been taking my car in with the light on, and Ever has been simply turning the light off without checking the code, and telling me there's nothing wrong with my car. If he had checked the code, he would have seen the same code P1157 remaining there because he replaced the incorrect O2 sensor the first time (replaced sensor 2 rather than sensor 1). Rather than admit his mistake and replace the correct sensor, and do the job correctly that he failed to do the first time, he wants to now charge me to replace the second sensor. If I am going to pay anyone to replace the broken sensor, it won't be these guys. They have lied and played games with my check engine light for weeks / months. Now, they want to rob me of even more hard-earned money because they failed to do the job right the first time. No way. Don't take your car here."
