"The room was nice and there was some nice staff but the desk guy that was working night was very rude and ruined the whole experience, demanded a deposit even though it didn't say it on the website he says it's just "common sense". Besides him being a very immaute person by making off hand comments also stating "you gonna smoke so need deposit" I didn't even smoke that's why I had the non smoking room.Other people were saying the website didn't say there needed to be a deposit as well. Besides him the everything else was nice."

"If I could, I would give them 0 points. The front desk staff was uncultured and rude . I said hello to him three times, but he ignored me and continued to cut his paper box without even an explanation. He didn’t look up at me. Acting like I'm a ghost, I once suspected he was deaf. The toilet on the first floor was still locked. I really couldn’t believe it. This isn’t the quality a hotel front desk should have. I was completely shocked, I have never been so impressed by a hotel .I’m sure you can check the monitor. December 25, 11:45AM. GL"

"Great place to stay for C&O canal bikers. The hotel is bike friendly and allow you to bring your bike and gear into the room. The location is just a couple of blocks from the start of the canal. The rooms are decent for the price point. Bathroom is nice and clean. Toiletries include dove soap and shampoo products which felt really good."

"Not recommended. Unhelpful and disagreeable staff. Better values elsewhere. Near the railroad so can get a little noisy. Carpeted room which I very much do not like. Bathroom was recently remodeled and was ok. The room lights were very harsh white. Room was clean enough, no complaints there. Ramada seems to have fallen off. I definitely will not stay here again. Someone has abandon a pickup truck in the lot for at least a week, hotel should have it towed. After my experience here I will probably not stay at any Ramada again. Overall it’s just kinda shabby. It’s all about customer service and brand loyalty, both of which are are lacking. They really need to tighten up."

"Only gave it 5 stars so people can see this review. WORST PLACE EVER!!! They racially profile their customers. The guy at the front desk on the weekdays is very rude! They “don’t care” according to the desk person. They don’t look at stuff when they clean your room and they throw YOUR stuff away or even take it, then when you go to report it at the front desk the guys says it’s your own fault and threatens to call the cops. You do not get reimbursed for their mistakes. They have very dirty rooms. All their things are outdated. The workers change their demeanors up when the police are called and act like they’re going to be compliant but are only putting on an act. The night desk person will yell at you in front of other customers, he will start the argument and when you give him his same energy he gets mad and that’s when he threatens to kick you out. Very unprofessional and rude."
