"Sooo slow. They pulled the ticket from the printer when I showed up to pick up an order. They hadn't even started. The order was placed an hour earlier because I've read the reviews about how slow and unresponsive they are to pick up orders. From when I placed the order to pick up was two and a half hours. Sat at the restaurant for 45 mins to finally get it. So yeah, they're slow"

"Good food but slow service. This is a restaurant in Woodbridge on the north side of Old Bridge Road in a set of shops right along the road and up a little hill. There is plenty of parking for all the stores at the center. There is a foyer with a counter but it was unstaffed when I entered. There is a sushi bar on the left, tables in the middle, and tables and booths on the raised platform to the right. The restaurant has a tile floor on the lower tables and carpeting on the raised portion. The floor did not seem clean. I was sent to pick up an order that had been called in for our party. I arrived a few minutes after the time that the food was supposed to be ready. There was no one at the counter. I approached the staff at the sushi bar. He took my name and told me they were getting it ready. 20 minutes later I was still waiting. The food was handed to me 30 minutes after I arrived and 25 minutes later than the time specified by them when we called. The food was good. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, it was a borderline 4 due to the long wait beyond the pickup time."

"SUPER COOL. I went there with my family and it is a very cool place. They cooked our food in front of us, putting up a show. The food was delicious and the kids loved it. It’s the best sushi place I’ve tried here in Woodbridge… Definitely going back there."

"These hater comments make me sad. I love the sushi here. Their lunch special can’t be beat and their sushi deluxe is my go to. This is a locally owned business and everyone here works their heart out. The “guy who doesn’t say anything” is the sushi chef who is working to fulfill every order and is just deep in focus. I never mind having to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for pickup because it doesn’t happen often and I know it’s because they’re backed up on orders. One of the owners knows me from ordering there so often and is always a joy to talk to. I saw him at the Food Lion down the street and he recognized me and said hi. If you’re looking to support a local business that gives you good, honest, delicious sushi then order here. If you expect corporate Sakura or Benihana then go there and keep your Karen comments to yourself."

(food over appearance), atmosphere meh. workers are nice. long summary: i saw the reviews on yelp was good and it was close by so i decided to give it a chance! as we entered, we were the only customers. my family and i were skeptical due to the absences and the lack of decor. the place was vacant and so was the welcoming atmosphere. it was like a ghost town: dim, quiet, and awkward.. however, our worries went away when the food was brought out! the sushi and sashimi was amazing! my little sister finished her giant bowl of udon and we even ordered another side of shrimp tempura after the first 2! the fish was fresh, we only wished they had cut thinner slices. the salmon was amazing. we spent a total of $95 for 5 people (excluding tip) so the pricing was fairly cheap and we had enough to bring home."
