"The salad was not bad, but it was drowned in the dressing. The miso soup it needs a little more seasoning. The hibachi was really good, but the smell in the restaurant and look needs a refresher. The food was good, so I do recommend it, but I will it seems to be higher in price compared to other Hitachi restaurants."

"Meh, I should have turned around when the wife said, "Is this place even open?" While pulling in the parking lot. Basic almost plain flavor no spice, even asked and was told we don't have any spices, fried rice looked already cooked, soup laughable and salad drowning in dressing $65 for 2 and that's the lower end of the menu so It's your choice now but definitely never again for me"

"We were a group of 9 (5 adults 4 children). Made 2:00 reservation for hibachi. No problems at all. I highly recommend Yamato Japanese Restaurant! The kids loved the show at the grill. Smiles on all of our faces. So happy we chose this place. The food was very good too!"
