18-8 Sushi

"We ordered take out sushi, sashimi and apps. The service was quick and courteous. The food was great and the fish seemed very fresh and tasty. The only complaint I have is that our sushi rolls weren't rolled very tightly and thus tended to fall apart when we picked them up."

"Came here on a Friday after work (around 7pm) and there was a nice moderate crowd. I was a little alarmed by the kid directing us to the bar area for a seat, but its a family business and he was very good at his job! The sushi is divine!! It's a great size portion and reasonably priced. The drinks are beautiful, not too strong, and you can still taste your liquor while enjoying the additional flavors. Every ingredient is listed in the menu along with accurate pictures, which is a great help in case you have allergies or are used to ordering one thing and it comes out looking like another. They have tvs and play a mixed genre of music. The gentleman beside us came alone and happily enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the Orioles baseball game. This place is a little slice of heaven. Great energy, and a lovely place to strike conversations should you come alone. They also have take out. I had an excellent experience here and I am definitely coming back for more!"

"Firstly this place is not Japanese rather it’s chinese and the food is bad. Very unfriendly and rude service. It seems like they are doing you a favor by taking your money to sell you food! To top that off it was super slow given there were only 4 diners at the “restaurant “ at 2 PM on Friday.I’ve never seen the nori sheet come off maki rolls even in supermarket avocado rolls but this place managed to do it. Their food tasted weird. They don’t provide you with a knife or spoon - just a fork and chopsticks do good luck with the tofu. We were told that they “don’t have Guinness anymore today” and it was just 2 PM."

"Love this sushi place. The food is consistently great. The menu is creative and the service is friendly. The only issue is not a big deal as much as it is an oddity. On a random Monday evening they were playing bizarre EDM music and MMA fights were on the huge TVs. (I like MMA and EDM but eating sushi with bleeding bodies on the screen and a DJ mix of Dance Monkey in the background was strange!)"
