Touch Hearts Christian Center & Dayschool

"My son attended Touch Hearts for 2 years. Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4- he started Kindergarten this year. I thought to myself that I was in my own personal nightmare trying to find a place for my son right in the thick of Covid. I came across Touch Hearts and went to meet with Apostle. I was able to have a walkthrough, and was told of all the learning he’d be doing and got to see the classrooms. I registered and was super excited to have him start on his first day. Here are a few things I loved about the school. It is a Christian based school, for my family and I, this is very important. I love that they wear uniforms. My son was 3 when he started, and wasn’t technically allowed in the Pre-K 3 room until he was fully potty trained. It took him a while, but, with their help … within a couple weeks it was done. The amount he learned while he was there was incredible. It was so nice to have him in a structured environment. My son can be challenging, to say the least … as most 3 and 4 year old’s can be … but they worked with me and I with them for the betterment of my child. By the time he graduated Pre-K 4, he graduated almost being on a 1st grade level… that’s a whole grade ahead than what he was going into! Ms. Lisa and Ms. Jeannette were phenomenal as his teachers. The same goes for Apostle and Pastor and Mr. and Mrs. Foster. When they say it takes a village, it reeeeally, truly does! And I couldn’t be happier that they were a part of ours…. I did mention that my son started Kindergarten this year, Ms. Lisa has called at least 3 times checking on my son to see how the transition is going. Again, it takes a village and they are second to none! Thank you all for everything!"

"I feel as if they had a Sunday school and tried to make it a full daycare. However they lack the training and the personnel to conduct such an act. If you just want to drop your kids off at a place and go about your way then this place is for you, but if you want your child to have a learning experience in a safe environment I would advise you to look elsewhere."

"Wish I could give them zero star. This school and its management are very unprofessional, dishonest, and are outright crooks. Whatever you do, no not send your kids to this school. I regret every interaction I ever had with them."

"This child care center is very unprofessional, poor communication, not in ratio, this facility is not held by the same standards as licensed facility in VA. Parents/Guardians please be aware if you have small children this is not ideal center children should not he strapped to a seat all day. This place is a nightmare!"

"Love this day care center. My children are very excited to go here. They have a lot of space to move for the little ones. They have recess time for the older ones and little ones. Rates are good too."
