"I want to put this review on here because Tom (the owner) went above and beyond for my team. My driver was having an issue with the truck on a Thursday. I called all the commercial truck repair places around including Freightliner. They all told me they could diag maybe Friday, Monday but no later than Tuesday. If you are not moving you are not making money. I called Hunterdon and Tom answered. I asked him if he could diag my truck. He told me to try and get it there as soon as possible. So my driver got it there just in time. Tom worked on it all day Thursday and come in on Friday and did not stop until he figured out what it was and got my drivers on the road at 5:15pm. As you could imagine I was so scared to see the bill. Let me tell you, Tom was very fair in his pricing and it was not at all as bad as I thought it was going to be. "my motorhome had a bad alternator. they took me in and quickly found a hard-to-find rebuilt replacement. the alternator was expensive but labor price was fair. going down the road a few hundred miles we experienced more battery issues. stopped at a different shop. they put a meter on the alternator and it was outputting 24v instead of 12. the bad alternator was not hunterdon diesels fault. and they refunded the money for the bad alternator a few months later when i was driving back through. the ONLY thing i wished they would have done is put a meter on the new alternator after installing, to double check the output. it was an easy thing to overlook when you’re trying to get people back on the road. the 2 employees i dealt with were nice. would go to them again."

"I had a sleeve blow on a 2004 freightliner century easy to get to only held on by two clamps no more that an hour and half labor. (Being generous) the guy didn't have the part so had to get it. He said it was about an hour away he said. I called ahead to let them know the driver was coming ahead of time and sent photo. The driver got there at around 12pm driver didn't leave until 5pm. Also the bill came up to 628.00 he said if he didn't have to get the part (the sleeve) it would have been 327.00 or something. So he charged me about 300.00 to pick up a sleeve. I've been trucking for 15years, in business for 5 I never had anyone charge me to get a part because they didn't have it or at least not that amount. Mind you this was not a roadside service the driver drove the truck there. The guy was nice I didn't fuss at him over the phone but not good business."

"I've been driving trucks for 26 yrs and this is one of the TOP TWO repair facilities I've ever patronized. I'm not talking about driver lounges and big screen tv's, this is a no frills (BUSY!) shop that's there to fix vehicles 7 days a week. I went in there fearing my motor had some serious issues. Tom got me right in and handled it himself. After a thorough diagnosis it turned out to be just a computer glitch. No parts just straight labor and for (what I thought anyway) a reasonable bill. Very nice people, thorough, honest, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended and I'd certainly go there again if I needed their services."
