"Recently my BMW X5 had an engine malfunction. I first brought it to my local mechanic and he was unable to diagnose the problem. I then brought it to my BMW dealership. They told me all 8 coils and spark plugs needed to be replaced first ($1700) and then they would re run the codes and go from there. They check you vehicle first with a very detailed report with pictures which I like. They tell you what works needs to be done before they began to service the car.
