I had a horrible slip and fall accident due to my ex-boyfriend's family's negligence with a patch of ice on their patio (which they knew about but gave me no warning, still inviting me onto the patio). My ex was high as a kite! I severely broke my elbow and it required surgery. Never got an apology from the family and they never took accountability. I had to drive myself home so my mom could take me to the hospital that night. I'm still in pain every day almost two years since the injury and over a year of PT.
