"There is no way this place received anything above a 1 star. This place is a rip off. The vehicle in mention was brought in and did not pass inspection. The prior state did not require state inspections, only smog tests. The estimate given was $2400. Fortunately there is a certified mechanic in the family that did all the repairs. The follow up inspection had a few more items 'discovered' so without any options, the parts were purchased elsewhere and custom performance was to install and repair. When the car was ready for pickup the total was $1100. The story behind the charges were that none of the parts that were purchased fit, and they had to source new parts at double the price!!! At this point, Custom Performance was paid more than the initial estimate and the car is STILL not inspection ready!!!!! I highly suggest you go elsewhere for your state inspections. This place will rob you blind!!!! Surely there are laws in Maryland against this type of scam!!!!"
