Andy's Pizza Old Town

"Andy's Pizza in Old Town is a quaint shop! It's a nice place to go and relax in the afternoon or evening. The pizza slice is really small but crispy. It's not a long thin sliced saucy and cheesy sliced pizza. The cheese slice was totally flat and hard. The sauce had no flavor if there was any sauce at all. Overall the cheese pizza slice was terrible. I miss the pizza shops in New York with the enthusiastic folks swirling the dough and then you can see them mold out a big pie and cover it with homemade flavorful spiced sauce and lots of cheese all around and then put into a really hot pizza oven. Nice shop but pizza not so good."

"This is the second Andy's I have been to. Basically all upside and small/knit pick downsides. Pizza options and flavors are top tier for the DC area. I don't think Dave Portnoy has reviewed any Andy's, but I would think his rank would be 7.4 at least. Can't go wrong with cheese or pepperoni options. Loads of canned beverage options."
