"No water fountains but they’re happy to stock and charge you for bottled water. Ive never been to a gym in my life (in any state or country) that doesn’t have a functioning water fountain. So petty. Locker room and bathroom cleanliness is not great. Glad I don’t have to go to this retro fitness regularly; I’d cancel my membership immediately."

"My favorite weekend gym! The morning staff is so friendly! As the GM of a gym in New Jersey, I truly appreciate the good customer service! Great selection of pre-workouts and cooler drinks as well! I’m glad I found a place I can get great workouts in when I am home on the weekends in PA!"

"Management enforces arbitrary rules that are not posted anywhere, but does not enforce the clearly posted very large print rule that says no cameras or camera phones on the floor. There's a small standoffish tank top kid with a whole tripod setup and doesn't get told anything. I've seen others with similar setups but i don't understand the point and don't understand why management doesn't enforce that particular rule, but enforces rules that are not posted anywhere. Very strange - lots of juice heads in this gym. No water fountains anywhere - which maybe not illegal but certainly seems nasty, unethical, and lazy. Unfortunately not many other options in the area and it's more expensive than in the city. Front desk people barely even acknowledge you, I guess they think they're doing you a favor. God forbid you have any questions you'll be interrupting their conversations. I would expect more for the prices they charge. Manager / owner seems like a clown which is likely the reason the rest of the staff is lousy. Go somewhere else if you can, or build your own home gym."

"Like others have said, this gym is unlike many Retro Fitness partners. Not an inviting environment for the cost. A lot of paternalism. Too many restrictions on room usage. Large areas blocked off even when not in use. Would recommend you choose another home gym or franchise if this location is your only option."

"Gym is always nice and clean except the women's soap dispensers leak all over the sink. This is my second time signing up here and nothing has changed in the last 3-4 years. The customer service is TRASH! Starting with management, weak welcomes if they even acknowledge you when you walk in, condescending demeanor when spoken too and $60 for a membership when in nyc its $30. Seriously hope corporate checks these reviews and send these “owners” and their management team to customer service seminars or something."
